With an average blade length of 4.57 inches, these knives are specially dimensioned for use with gloves (including heavy heat-protective gloves). The handle scales are uniformly made of heat resistant G10 with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb structure. All knives have a 4-way reversible wire clip (for tip-up, tip-down r/l carry modes), blades made of edge retention D2 with a ball-bearing axle, jimpings at the blade base for fibrous material, a retractable belt-cutter and a glass-breaker.
The special feature of the Professional Rescue Sheepfoot blade is the removable thumb disc. This allows the knife to be used either as a one-hand or two-hand opening knife.
