Spyderco Sage 6 Button Compression Lock Folding Knife #C123GPBOR

Spyderco’s incredibly popular Sage™ Series is a remarkable collection of knives that express the same folding knife pattern with different lock mechanisms. Each model in the series pays tribute to the groundbreaking designer who invented or popularized that particular lock. The Sage 6 recognizes custom knifemaker Kevin Smock’s Button-Release Compression Lock—a novel variation of Spyderco’s original mechanism. This elite version of the Sage 6 supercharges the design with a blade crafted from CPM REX 121—a high-vanadium, cobalt-bearing tool steel specifically formulated to offer exceptional sharpness and unequalled edge retention. To further distinguish this knife, its handle features distinctive burnt-orange-colored peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. A reversible deep-pocket wire clip completes the package, providing a choice of left- or right-side tip-up carry.

Spyderco will donate approximately 5% of sales of the Sage line to the National Alzheimer's Association Denver, Colorado Chapter. The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected, and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. Contributions to the Alzheimer's Association provide care and support to families in Colorado coping with Alzheimer's disease, as well as fund national programs and research to ultimately find a cure.
