The Phantara has a very Buck Knives Alpha fixed blade look to it that we happen to find very appealing. This means the knife is well-suited to handle some tasks not normally asked of a folding design including but not limited to hunting applications like skinning and quartering or campsite whittling and kitchen food prep. It's one of the few designs not ideally suited for tactical encounters but everything else under the sun it'll handle just fine.
